Reach the thing at the back without unpacking the front
What gets pushed to the back of a freezer is what gets forgotten, because reaching it means lifting everything in front out first. The BFF2761FD uses a sliding tray that pulls out as a whole shelf, so the things you reach for often stay easy to get at. The freezer also holds two storage drawers and an ice tray.
The fridge compartment above uses four safety-glass shelves, all height-adjustable except the bottom one, and the door carries four more shelves plus an egg tray. The full shelf layout is on the product page.
A kitchen designed as one room should not stop at the fridge door
A fitted kitchen with one run of cabinet fronts usually stops dead at the refrigerator, which is a different finish in a different colour. The BFF2761FD is a built-in refrigerator with a Door On Door system that takes a furniture door mounted on the fridge door, so the unit reads as part of the cabinetry. The door can also be hinged on the left or the right to suit the way the kitchen already works.
The price excludes installation, installation parts and the furniture door. The cabinet measures 54.0 × 54.5 × 177.0 cm; give that figure to your cabinetmaker before the housing is designed.
Greens wilting in three days is not a temperature problem
Leaves that wilt fast and fruit that spoils fast are usually losing to the humidity in the drawer, not to the temperature. The crisper in the BFF2761FD has a Humidity Controlled Crisper system that adjusts the humidity level inside the drawer, so fruit and vegetables keep their freshness longer instead of sharing one setting with everything else in the cabinet.
The fridge compartment has a Cold Air Flow fan that spreads the cold evenly through the cabinet and uses Automatic Defrost; the freezer is No Frost.
Come home with a full car of shopping and the fridge keeps up
Load ten bags of fresh food in at once and the temperature inside jumps, then takes its time settling back. The BFF2761FD answers that with a Push Button HP Display control that sets five cooling levels, plus Super Cooling, which drops the temperature in the fridge and the freezer quickly. It is meant for starting the appliance up, or for the day you load a lot of food in at once.
The cabinet runs a Tropicalize Compressor rated for room temperatures from 16 to 43 degrees Celsius. The stated energy figures are 390.55 kWh per year, or 1.07 kWh per day.
