MEX Drinking Water Cartridges
Due for a change Get the right one
The filter is due and you have no idea which cartridge your machine takes. Read the model off the unit first. Forty-five here, from THB 250.-
The machine stays the same.
The cartridge does not.
A purifier filters with the cartridges inside it, not with its casing. A cartridge works by holding back what you do not want, so it fills up as you use it. Once it is overdue the machine still runs and the water still flows, but what should have been held back may already be passing through.
Each stage has its own job, so each has its own interval
Cartridges in one machine do not expire together. The stage that meets the coarse material first fills faster than the stage at the end of the line.
These intervals are printed for the three CUCKOO by MEX models and the T600, twelve of the forty-five items, with the note that they depend on water quality and how much water you use. The other eleven machines have none stated. Ask a MEX service centre.
No guesswork. Some models tell you.
A cartridge never fails visibly. Water still flows, the machine still runs, and the date slips past. The T600 answers that with separate status lights for RO, CB and CF, at the tap and on the unit, plus a three-colour TDS light. The M-Stream UF04 and M-Stream MF03 let you change cartridges yourself with no tools.
The cartridge status lights and the three-colour TDS light are stated for the T600 only · QUICK-CHANGE FILTER and NO TOOLS REQUIRED apply to the M-Stream UF04 and M-Stream MF03 only.
Cartridges are tied to a machine and do not swap
The catalogue prints replacement cartridges for all fifteen machines, forty-five items in all. The CUCKOO group is named rather than coded, so you get Sediment Filter or Nano Positive instead of a part number. X-Stream codes end in XST, and M-Stream codes start with S4 for the UF04 and S2 for the MF03. Read the model off the unit first.
Only four machines carry a printed interval
Just the CP-WN601HW, CP-U011B, MN021W and T600 have intervals printed. The CUCKOO group runs at 4 months for the sediment filter, 8 for carbon and 12 for Nano. The T600 runs at 12 months for the CF and CB set and 24 for the ROM-24M, which the catalogue ties to water quality and use. The other eleven carry a price and no interval.
Four NSF/ANSI badges, all on the GRO-50 set
Of the forty-five items, four carry an NSF/ANSI badge, all in the GRO-50 set. The GRO-50EN, the RO element, is badged NSF/ANSI Std.58, while the GAC-10, the EPM-10 and the Inline Post Carbon GS-10RO are badged NSF/ANSI No.42. The C255430-49L sediment filter in the same set carries none, so we do not give it one. Prices run from THB 250 to 7,590.
All 45 cartridges, sorted by machine
Find your machine first, then read down its group. A struck-through figure is the normal price, and a blue pill is a replacement interval or a standard the catalogue prints.
