A dishwasher is a closed space that stays damp, which is exactly what bacteria like. PureBeam answers that by emitting UV light inside the cabinet to reduce build-up and inhibit the growth of bacteria inside the machine. The catalogue records that the technology kills germs and helps reduce unwanted odours as well.
PureBeam is the DV915DX technology. If odour is your main concern, other models in the range use Ion Tech instead, which works in a different way. Check the product page of the model you are considering.
The smell in a dishwasher does not leave with the water
Unwanted odour in a dishwasher usually appears after the wash, from food debris left inside the machine and sometimes from poor cleaning habits. Ion Tech deals with the cause: it releases negative ions that bind to the odour particles and neutralise them, which reduces the smell inside the machine.
Ion Tech is listed for the LVB6533 and the DI815DG. The DV915DX uses PureBeam instead, which the catalogue also credits with reducing odour. Check the product page of the model you are considering.
A big pot goes in, as long as the basket moves out of its way
A dishwasher that will not take a pot leaves you washing by hand anyway. The baskets in a MEX dishwasher adjust to what you are loading. The large folding lower basket takes plates and large items such as pots and pans. The folding upper basket comes with an adjustable full-width glass rack and, on the DV915DX and LVB6533, three height settings. The cutlery basket lifts out of the machine by its handle.

Pick the program that fits the job instead of running the long one every time
Two coffee cups do not need the cycle a burnt-on frying pan needs. MEX dishwashers separate the programs by job. Jet Wash runs in 14 minutes for light marks such as tea, coffee or milk, and takes up to four standard place settings. Quick Clean washes and dries in 50 minutes. Dual Pro Wash splits the water pressure two ways, gentle on the glasses in the upper basket and heavy on the lower one. Smart Wash uses a sensor that reads how cloudy the water is and sets the temperature, the time and the water volume by itself. Steam Wash uses steam to soften baked-on residue so it lifts away.
