Lift it into the cabinetry and the worktop comes back
A counter-top microwave always costs you one slot of worktop. A built-in model moves up into the cabinetry instead, and you can choose the face that suits the kitchen. The CM650B and CM925BX have a black glass front with touch control; the MM625BX and MM625S are stainless steel inside and out, operated by buttons and knobs. Every model has a digital display and a child lock.
The sizes differ: the CM650B is 45 cm tall with a 50-litre capacity, while the CM925BX, MM625BX and MM625S are 40 cm tall with 25 litres. Measure the cabinet opening before choosing, and ask your dealer about preparing the cabinet before ordering.
Hot all the way through, and browned on top, in one machine
A microwave heats fast, but it rarely leaves a crisp surface. These built-in ovens grill as well, and the grill runs together with the microwave. The CM925BX, MM625BX and MM625S use 900 W to heat and 1,000 W to grill, and can do both at once. The CM650B goes further, with eight oven programmes and three more that combine the oven with the microwave. Every model comes with a grill rack.
The 1,000 W grill and simultaneous grilling are stated for the CM925BX, MM625BX and MM625S. The CM650B is a combination oven that uses combi programmes and can be set from 50 to 250 °C. Check the spec of the model you are buying.
One press and it runs, straight away, for 30 seconds
Reheating one plate or one cup of milk should not take a sequence of settings. The CM925BX, MM625BX and MM625S have a Quick Start button that runs 30 seconds on a single press, with no power level to choose and no timer to set first. For anything longer, all three can be set to run automatically for up to 95 minutes and carry eight automatic programmes.
The Quick Start button is stated for the CM925BX, MM625BX and MM625S. The CM650B uses touch control with a Slider Control Bar and carries thirteen automatic programmes instead. Check the spec of the model you are buying.
Forgot to take the meat out this morning? Dinner is still on
Meat left in the freezer all day is the most common reason dinner falls apart. Every model here has a defrost programme, and on the CM925BX, MM625BX and MM625S you can run it two ways: set by time, or set by the weight of the food, so there is no guessing how many minutes it should take.
Defrosting by time or by weight is stated for the CM925BX, MM625BX and MM625S. The CM650B is stated as having a defrost programme, without the two options. Check the spec of the model you are buying.
