    How is it different from other hood types?
A built-in hood is recessed into the furniture cabinet above your hob — from the outside, your kitchen stays clean and seamless, while the suction underneath remains full strength. Perfect for built-in kitchens that prize a tidy look.
    What cabinet size do I need?
Each model needs a different cabinet opening — check the spec of the model you choose, or have the MEX team measure on site and recommend the model that fits your cabinetry before you order.
    My kitchen can't vent outside. Can I still use one?
Many models can run in recirculation mode with a Carbon Filter, scrubbing odours and grease before releasing clean air back into the room — check the spec of your chosen model or consult the MEX team before ordering.
